The Summer Milky Way floats over the Hidden Lake
Observatory in this self portrait. The night had passing
clouds near the horizon, appearing as streaks across the
lower sky.
This image combined 10 non-tracked 15 second
exposures with a Canon M mirrorless camera on a
tripod, set to ISO 6400. The individual images had
severe noise, that improved dramatically after aligning
and stacking in Maxim DSLR, using a Standard
Deviation Mask algorithm with 3 iterations.
Postprocessing used Adobe Photoshop CS6.
