Galaxy M82 in Ursa Major
Galaxy M82 is an edge-on spiral galaxy whose sttructure is disrupted by gravitational interaction with
M81.  This interaction has spurred a burst of star formation, giving rise to a brilliant region of excited
Hydrogen.

This image combined 170 minutes of H-alpha, 30 minutes of red, 30 minutes green and 45 minutes of
blue exposures, all unbinned.  An ST10XME camera was used through a 12" Meade LX200R at f/7
