The Summer Milky Way over Zion National Park
|
The bright Sagittarius arm of the Milky Way Galaxy, in the direction of the core of the galaxy,
glows with red hydrogen gas and blue-white clusters of stars. This is located just above the
constellation Sagittarius (in the lower center of the image), shaped like a tea-cup.
This is my first night-scape image, taken with a Canon 60Da camera, 30 second exposure, 20
mm lens.
